"BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
* Check with your Doctor Pharmacists or Nurse if information in this
leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information
about your medicine and its use.
COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the maintenance treatment of mild to moderate ASTHMA
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* Patient should read specific ""PATIENT INFORMATION"" provided with this
medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is
renewed.
* Take regularly as prescribed even during symptom-free periods.
* This medicine is NOT meant to relieve ACUTE asthmatic symptoms which
should be treated with inhaled short-acting bronchodilator (e.g. albuterol).
* Follow proper INHALATION TECHNIQUE according to instructions provided with
your medicine. Rinse mouth with water after each use.
* Container must be primed prior to the first use or if not in regular use.
Read ""patient information"" for instructions on priming the container
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Cough; Narrowing of airway passage.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Change in taste; Headache; Inflammation of the pharynx; Nasal congestion;
Chest pain; Nausea; Respiratory infection; Difficulty breathing; Skin rash;
Shakiness; Stomach discomfort or pain; Diarrhea; Dry mouth; Indigestion;
Dizziness; Unusual tiredness or weakness; Vomiting.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women.
NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
* Seek medical advice IMMEDIATELY for reassessment of therapy if previously
effective dosage regimen fails to provide the usual relief.
* This medicine is not used as a substitute for oral or inhaled
corticosteroids. DO NOT STOP OR REDUCE CORTICOSTEROID THERAPY without medical
advice."
