BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

* Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions : THYROID problem.
COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the management of ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* This medicine can be taken with or without food REGARDLESS of meal times.
If stomach upset occurs take with food.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE AND GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF ANY OF THE
FOLLOWING OCCURS (SEE SYMPTOMS BELOW):
Shortness of breath fast or irregular breathing fever joint pain fast
pulse lightheadedness or fainting swelling of face hives & itching.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Muscle cramps; Nausea; Unusual tiredness or weakness; Dizziness; Drowsiness;
Rapid heart rate; Burning pain tingling or numbness; Slowness of heartbeat;
Diarrhea; Vomiting; Muscle weakness; Yellowing of eyes or skin; Severe skin
reactions.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Depression; Heartburn; Nightmares; Congestive heart failure; Increased
sensitivity to sunlight; Decreased appetite; Stomach discomfort or pain;
Cough; Flu-like symptoms; Headache; Itching; Skin rash; Decreased sexual
desire; Bloating; Constipation; Stomach or intestinal irritation; Dizziness
when getting up; Low blood pressure; Blurred vision; Changes in urination
frequency or amount; Decreased sexual ability; Chest pain; Confusion;
Impotence; Difficulty falling asleep; Cardiovascular irregularities;
Breathing difficulty.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine
SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit justifies potential risk
to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
* This medicine may cause drowsiness dizziness or blurred vision. DO NOT
drive or operate machines until you know how you react to this medicine.
* DIABETICS: This medicine may mask signs of hypoglycemia or alter blood
glucose levels.
* This medicine may cause increased levels of cholesterol and/or other
lipids. Use with caution if you have moderate to high lipid concentrations.
* Notify doctor if symptoms of CHF occur (eg difficult breathing especially
on exertion or lying down; night cough; swelling of the extremities).
