"BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
* Check with your Doctor Pharmacists or Nurse if information in this
leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information
about your medicine and its use.
* Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions : OSTEOPOROSIS;
DEPRESSION.
COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the palliative treatment of advanced CARCINOMA IN PROSTATE
2- For the treatment of UTERINE LEIOMYOMA
3- For the treatment of ENDOMETRIOSIS
4- For the treatment of CENTRAL PRECOCIOUS PUBERTY in children.
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* This medicine is administered only by or under the supervision of your
doctor.
* SHAKE well before using.
* Patient should read specific ""PATIENT INFORMATION"" provided with this
medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is
renewed.
* For subcutaneous injection only.
* Rotate the injection site.
* DO NOT EXCEED recommended dosage.
* DO NOT skip doses or discontinue unless directed by your doctor.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE AND GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF ANY OF THE
FOLLOWING OCCURS (SEE SYMPTOMS BELOW):
Shortness of breath fast or irregular breathing fever joint pain fast
pulse lightheadedness or fainting swelling of face hives & itching.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Breast enlargement; Severe skin itching with patches; Vaginal bleeding.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Injection site redness or swelling; Injection site pain; Acne; Generalized
pain; Skin redness; Skin rash; Nausea; Headache; Difficulty swallowing;
Nervousness; Increased sensitivity to sunlight; Sleepiness; Vomiting.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* STOP TAKING MEDICINE & GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF A
HYPERSENSITIVITY OR ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION occurs: (see symptoms below):-
* shortness of breath fast or irregular breathing fever joint pain fast
pulse lightheadedness or fainting swelling of face hives & itching.
* This medicine is CONTRAINDICATED for use during pregnancy. CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
* It is important that you keep your follow-up appointments with your doctor.
* ENDOMETRIOSIS PATIENTS: This medication should stop menstration. Contact
your doctor if menstration persists.
* PROSTATE CANCER PATIENTS: Notify MD if you develop new or worsened symptoms
after start of treatment.
* PROSTATE CANCER PATIENTS: Response to therapy should be monitored by
measuring testesterone and PS"
