"BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
* Check with your Doctor Pharmacists or Nurse if information in this
leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information
about your medicine and its use.
COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the relief of symptoms associated with BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* Patient should read specific ""PATIENT INFORMATION"" provided with this
medicine before starting treatment and each time their prescription is
renewed.
* Swallow whole unless otherwise directed by your physician. DO NOT crush or
chew sustained release preparations.
* Take medication at the same time each day 30 minutes after meal.
* May cause DIZZINESS or LIGHTHEADEDNESS. Stand up slowly from bed or a
chair.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness; Headache; Ejaculation dysfunction in males; Infection; Nasal
congestion; Muscle weakness; Vertigo; Dizziness when getting up;
Constipation; Diarrhea; Drowsiness; Nausea; Nervousness; Dizziness upon
standing; Burning pain tingling or numbness; Loss of consciousness
(fainting); Vomiting.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* AVOID concurrent use of alcohol or other CNS depressants as it may
intensify the drowsiness dizziness or lightheadedness effect of this
medicine.
* Gender: This medicine is not indicated for women.
* This medicine may cause drowsiness dizziness or blurred vision. DO NOT
drive or operate machines until you know how you react to this medicine.
* Male patients with prolonged inappropriate and painful erections should
IMMEDIATELY DISCONTINUE the drug and consult a doctor or go to EMERGENCY.
* SPECIAL POPULATIONS:
* Pediatric: The safety or efficacy of this medicine in pediatric patients
below 18 years of age has not been established."
