ETHMOZINE TABLET 250MG

BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
* Check with your Doctor Pharmacists or Nurse if information in this
leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information
about your medicine and its use.
* Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions : LIVER PROBLEMS;
KIDNEY DISEASE.
COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the treatment of life-threatening IRREGULAR HEARTBEATS
It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* This medicine can be taken with or without food REGARDLESS of meal times.
If stomach upset occurs take with food.
* Use this medicine for the full prescribed treatment period.
* HOSPITALIZATION is required when starting on this medication.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Irregular heartbeat; Chest pain; Fever.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness; Nausea; Headache; Unusual tiredness or weakness; Difficulty
breathing; Difficulty falling asleep; Nervousness; Muscle pain; Decreased
appetite; Anxiety; Cardiovascular irregularities; Confusion; Dry skin;
Indigestion; Gas; Impotence; Skin rash; Sweating; Ringing in ears; Shakiness;
Vertigo; Decreased sexual desire; Stomach discomfort or pain; Blurred vision;
Diarrhea; Dry mouth; Vomiting.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women.
NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
* This medicine may cause drowsiness dizziness or blurred vision. DO NOT
drive or operate machines until you know how you react to this medicine.
* Watch for signs of adverse CARDIOVASCULAR effects (eg palpitation chest
pain rapid heart rate tremor or nervousness). Inform doctor immediately.
