BUSPIRONE HCL TABLET 5MG

BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
* Check with your Doctor Pharmacists or Nurse if information in this
leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information
about your medicine and its use.
* Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions : KIDNEY DISEASE;
LIVER PROBLEMS; If you are PREGNANT.
COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the management of ANXIETY STATES
2- For the relief of symptoms associated with PREMENSTRUAL TENSION SYNDROMES
It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* Take this medicine WITH MEALS. You may take immediately before or
immediately after meals.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Unusual movements of eye face limb.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Dizziness; Drowsiness; Blurred vision; Stomach discomfort or pain; Difficulty
falling asleep; Nervousness; Numbness; Muscle weakness; Diarrhea; Headache;
Nausea.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* There are no adequate or well-controlled safety studies in pregnant women.
NOTIFY YOUR DOCTOR IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
* This medicine may cause drowsiness dizziness or blurred vision. DO NOT
drive or operate machines until you know how you react to this medicine.
* AVOID concurrent use of alcohol or other CNS depressants as it may
intensify the drowsiness dizziness or lightheadedness effect of this
medicine.
* AVOID GRAPEFRUIT while taking this medicine.
* SPECIAL POPULATIONS:
* GERIATRIC (>65 years): No differences in the safety or efficacy were noted
between the elderly and younger patients. No dose adjustment is needed.
