BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
* Inform your Doctor or Pharmacist if you are allergic to any prescription or
non-prescription medicine; taking other medicines or have other medical
problems; pregnant planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.
* Check with your Doctor Pharmacists or Nurse if information in this
leaflet causes you special concern or if you want additional information
about your medicine and its use.
* Inform your doctor if you have any of these conditions : STOMACH ULCER;
LIVER PROBLEMS; KIDNEY DISEASE.
COMMON USES FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the treatment of PAIN GENERALIZED
2- For the treatment of PYREXIA OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN
3- For the treatment of RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS & OTHER INFLAMMATORY
POLYARTHROPATHIES
4- For the treatment of RHEUMATIC FEVER WITHOUT MENTION OF HEART INVOLVEMENT
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* Wash your hands remove the foil wrapper. Lie down on your side and push
the suppository well up into the rectum with your finger.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original container in a cool dry place away from children. Dont
freeze suppositories.
STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE AND GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF ANY OF THE
FOLLOWING OCCURS (SEE SYMPTOMS BELOW):
Shortness of breath fast or irregular breathing fever joint pain fast
pulse lightheadedness or fainting swelling of face hives & itching.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY IF YOU EXPERIENCE:
Swelling of feet or lower legs; Skin rash.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Nausea; Heartburn; Indigestion; Stomach discomfort or pain; Unusual tiredness
or weakness; Muscle weakness.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* STOP TAKING MEDICINE & GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF A
HYPERSENSITIVITY OR ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION occurs: (see symptoms below):-
* shortness of breath fast or irregular breathing fever joint pain fast
pulse lightheadedness or fainting swelling of face hives & itching.
* Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine
SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit justifies potential risk
to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
* This medication may cause stomach or intestine bleeding and ulceration.
Contact your doctor immediately if heartburn or stomach discomfort occurs.
* Do not take concurrently with other salicylate-containing products
including aspirin.
* Notify doctor if ringing in ears occurs.
