BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:

COMMON USE FOR THIS MEDICINE:
1- For the treatment of MALIGNANT NEOPLASM OF VISCERAL PLEURA
2- For the treatment of CARCINOMA IN BRONCHUS AND LUNG
HOW TO USE THIS MEDICINE:
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label unless instructed
differently by your doctor
* This medicine is given as an IV INFUSION at a constant rate over a period
of time as recommended by manufacturer.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU MISS A DOSE:
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
HOW TO STORE THIS MEDICINE:
Keep in original closed container in a dark cool and dry place away from
children. Discard unneeded medicine.
OTHER SIDE EFFECTS:
Decreased appetite; Anemia; Abnormal blood cell count; Unusual tiredness or
weakness; Fever; Infection; Itching; Inflammation of the pharynx; Skin rash;
Mouth ulcers; Abnormally low platelet count.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome check with your
doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY.
PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:
* This medicine is CONTRAINDICATED for use during pregnancy. CALL YOUR DOCTOR
IMMEDIATELY IF PREGNANT or intend to become pregnant.
* Notify your doctor if signs of INFECTION develops (eg fever sore throat
chills or unusual bruising or bleeding).
* Report the use of any other prescription or nonprescription medicines
including natural/herbal remedies to your doctor.
* This medicine may cause BLOOD PROBLEMS resulting in certain infections
slow healing and gum bleeding. Be careful when toothbrushing and flossing.
